The First Presidency has announced changes to the end-of-year meetings with bishops and members about tithing.
Tithing settlement has been an annual meeting held between October 15 until December 31 each year. In it, the bishop or branch president met with families to discuss their payment of tithing. This will now be called “tithing declaration.” The change is intended to focus even more on the principles and blessings of tithing and our covenant relationship with Heavenly Father. Tithing declaration will be primarily a learning experience—especially for children and youth—and an opportunity for Latter-day Saints to declare their tithing faithfulness.
Tithing declaration interviews may now start as early as September 1 and should be completed by December 15. This gives bishops more time to meet with families and individuals.

I like that! I never thought about it before, but as soon as I heard the change, I smiled
Is it considered a little different when each year my husband meets with the bishop for tithing declaration and he goes alone. When I would like to be in the meeting as well? And it is known that I would. No one says anything to me about the appointment time, the meeting between my husband and bishop is just done without me. Year after year.
I do give my tithing money to my husband.
