FamilySearch Indexing is in need of more Indexing Reviewers. The backlog of indexed records to be reviewed is over 7.7 million and is growing every day!
What is Indexing Review?
Review is a process in which one person reviews a batch that was indexed by someone else. Every batch must be reviewed before the collection is published on FamilySearch.org. After you have indexed 1,000 records, you will be given rights to review batches.

No one gets paid all is volunteer work. 35% Available while 65% still needs to be indexed and reviewed. 3.5 billion names total. About 1.2 billion available now. So worldwide people can find their ancestors. Genealogy.
No Everything is voluntarily done. By LDS members and non-LDS members. You index/arbitrate so others can find their past. Many do it in their free time so that they can get more information. About 36% has been done. Now with Web indexing, it is speeding up. There are about 3.5 billion names total estimated. Anyone can help in this great cause. So there are about 54% of the 3.5 billion names that needs to be done. Currently, there are about 1.2 billion names done and available on familysearch.org. (a total about 36% available of all records ) Another 2.3 billion or so names still are not indexed or arbitrated so people can find their Ancestors. ( or in other words about 54% or 2.3 billion names not searchable on familysearch that need to be indexed and arbritated/reviewed) So people can put in a name and find their ancestors on thier family trees.
NO all is voluntary. There are roughly 1.2 billion names on family search.org. About 33% done. There are another 2.3 billion names the LDS church has that has to be indexed and Arbritatred or Reviewed. A total of about 3.5 billion names family search has. But there are still about 65% of those names or (about 2.3 billion names est.) that Still can NOT be searched and found yet. That is where indexing and arbitrating comes in. So that All names can be searched and found. As people all over the world find their ancestors.
I have indexed over 1,000 records. How do I become a reviewer?
