Leaders can access a family history report that shows information about family history activity in the ward or stake. Priesthood leaders, many members of stake and ward councils, and temple and family history consultants can access the report through Leader and Clerk Resources at lds.org/lcr.
The Family History Activity Report gives a quick snapshot of what family history activities members are engaging in and how that activity compares to previous years.
My husband and I are the Director of a Family History Center and we can’t seem to get to these reports. How do we get put on the LCR for the Reports?
Rachel,
Here are the instructions to access the report:
1. Go to lds.org/lcr and sign in with your LDS Account.
2. Click the menu item Reports in the gray bar just under the blue menu bar.
3. Choose “Family History Activy Report in the first column.
If you don’t see that menu option, check with your clerk to ensure that he has entered your appropriate calling in the system. It is accessible by members of the ward council and the Temple and Family History Consultant. He may have to enter you as a ward Temple and Family History Consultant.
I’ve found out that only family history callings in the ward and stake have access to the Leader and Clerk Resource website and, therefore, the report. Since the role of center directors is to run the center, and the center serves multiple units, they don’t have access to ward or stake reports. Your ward temple and family history consultant can let you know how your ward is doing.
I tried to find this on Leader and Clerk Resources but do not see it. Can you tell me where to find this? Thanks!

When does the report come out? It is the 6th of the month and I don’t see last month’s report yet.
Question: On the Family History Activity Report, numbers are given for the number of members submitting a name. I would like to have this clarified as to what this means? Is it a member submitting a name for a temple ordinance to be done, does it include indexing in any way, or something else?
Ageed – how can we find the details of what the criteria is for calculating the totals for the Family History Activity Report. If someone submits a name to the temple does that count?
