The response to the Church’s Christmas invitation to #ShareTheGift of Christ has been amazing.
- The new video “He Is the Gift” has been watched nearly 34 million times in 20 languages and more than 4 million enjoyed the Christmas messages at Christmas.mormon.org.
- Over 1,000 people, including notable LDS YouTubers, came together to break a world record for the largest live nativity.
- Many people shared with others their testimony of Jesus Christ, including using the pass-along cards they received with their December Ensign. Below are some examples of people sharing their beliefs on social media.
Love the stats! 🙂
The “He Is The Gift” pass along cards provided members an easy and powerful opportunity to help others to understand the true meaning of Christmas, to develop their own personal testimony of the birth and mission of the savior, and to do member missionary work. I sure hope we see more of this type of new pass along cards in the near future
My husband and I loved being among the hundreds of “angels ” for the Record Breaking Live Nativity, even though it meant standing for about six hours for the filming [and we’re 86 and 88]. We’re happy that “He is the Gift,” which was the purpose for the live nativity project, to help promote it, is so successful.
