Spouses and other family members carry heavy burdens when a loved one is involved with pornography. To help leaders better meet the needs of spouses and family, the following resources are now available:
- Counseling Resources at CounselingResources.lds.org have been updated with specific guidance about ministering to those who are affected by the use of pornography. These resources can be accessed by members of ward and stake councils. You must sign in with your LDS Account and be listed in MLS with a calling that is included in the ward or stake council.
- Spouse and Family Support Guide at AddictionRecovery.lds.org is designed to help spouses and families of those dealing with addiction. Priesthood leaders may use it during interviews and in Addiction Recovery Program meetings.
- Overcoming Pornography website at OvercomingPornography.org helps people find healing, forgiveness, protection, and power through the Atonement of Jesus Christ. It includes practical guidance and resources for pornography users, their spouses and family members, and Church leaders.
- Confidential group meetings offered by the LDS Family Services Addiction Recovery Program. These meetings can help spouses and families find peace and healing by applying gospel principles. Visit AddictionRecovery.lds.org to learn how to join these meetings.
