A widget is a small piece of code that you can embed into a website or blog that will display dynamic content. For example, below is a widget to promote Mormon.org. It plays different videos from Mormon.org, and also has tabs to see FAQs and to Chat. (Click the + sign at the bottom right corner of the widget to reveal the HTML code to use on your website or blog.)
Banners are images that you can place in blog posts or on websites that have great images about the Church. You can put links on these images to send people to pages on Church websites.
Below is a list of widgets and banners offered by the Church:
- Mormon.org
- Invite Others to General Conference
- Bible Videos “The Life of Christ” (See other versions with Mary, Joseph, and the baby Jesus.)
- LDS Business College (Megan’s Story)
- LDS widgets from Google Play
- LDS widgets from Mormon Mission Prep
- LDS images from the LDS.org media library (put links on these images to send people to pages on Church websites)

widgetbox has been shut down. Is there another site available to pickup the widget codes?
Thank you,
Lisa Reynolds
What code can I add to make the Mormon.org widget slightly narrower to fit my website so I don’t get sliders?
Lisa,
Now that widgetbox is shut down, I’ve updated this post to show the remaining widgets available.

Looks like the widget is not working. I noticed on ldsmissionaries.com and it’s the same here. I’m going to deactivate the widget on our site until it is back up. Let me know if you know of updates. Thanks! You do amazing work.
Andy,
It’s back up now.

I am trying to find the code for the Mormon Channel gadget for blogger. I can see the the page but not code?
Thanks
Roger
Roger,
I’ve reported that the widget isn’t working. When they get it fixed, I’ll let you know.

No more links to add widgets to blog pages? I keep getting the message something went wrong.
