The Church is launching a three-day advertising campaign this weekend in conjunction with Easter. The campaign will take place on YouTube and Facebook. The focus is to help those not of our faith understand that we believe in and follow Jesus Christ. The campaign features members of the Church sharing their beliefs about the Savior.
Short advertisements will be shown on YouTube on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (April 6-8). We anticipate the ads will be viewed a minimum of 15 million times. The advertising will link to a specially designed mormon.org page that has been created where visitors can share why Jesus Christ is important to them, learn more about our beliefs in the Savior, download the Bible videos app, or order a free Bible (U.S. and Canada only).
Visitors to the mormon.org Facebook page (facebook.com/mormon) will also be encouraged to share their feelings about Jesus Christ. It is hoped that thousands of Church members and nonmembers will express their testimonies of Jesus Christ during the Easter weekend.
Church members are invited to be involved with the campaign in several ways:
- Tell family and friends about the campaign and encourage them to tell their family and friends. Encourage family and friends to participate on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday by visiting mormon.org/easter or facebook.com/mormon.
- Encourage family and friends to look for the YouTube ads and visit mormon.org/easter.
- On Friday, Saturday, or Sunday Church members are encouraged to visit mormon.org/easter and share their feelings about Jesus Christ.
Note that the mormon.org/easter page will not be live until early Friday morning.
We believe this will be a unique opportunity for Church members to engage in conversations with those not of our faith about the importance of Jesus Christ in the lives of God’s children.
This will be a great Easter campaign!
Here in the pacific it is already Easter Friday. So I have posted mine already. Thanks for letting us know about this.
I just want the world to know that I love Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. They are the ones that I live for! My deepest desire is to be like them and to serve them. The only thing that I really care about is living with them in the eternieies with my family!!! They are the ones that I think about all day long! Because of this I am the “happiest girl in the whole USA”.
We celebrate April 6th as the birth of our savior, Jesus Christ — how wonderful that Easter falls on His birthday this year! I know that Jesus is the Only Begotten Son of our Heavenly Father and He is my Redeemer and because of His grace and atonement ALL mankind has been saved from spiritual and physical death. I am so grateful for the restoration of the Savior’s true gospel in these tast trying times.
I know that as member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints that my faith in the Savior has grown so much in Christ. I know he has risen from the tomb! I know that only throw him we can only be saved. I know he will come again! I know that all who have not found their faith in Christ is to search for their faith.
i know that as membrs of the church i trully believe that christ died and the third day he will raised again and all of us will rise again with perfect body my testimony and my faith grows every day especillary during his sacrifice in the garden of gethesamane for our sin
I know that Jesus is my Savior he died for us all. This is a man that walked on this earth, spoke to people, got baptisied, spoke of his Father in Heaven. People laughed, mocked him and crusified him. YET HE STILL LOVED US ALL. Could you do this? I want to be more Christ like. This is my goal in life is to learn to be this way. Not easy but I am leaning. Because I read my Bible and the Book of Morman, and the Pearl of Great Price. And I pray everyday for Love in this world. When you pray Thank our Heavenly Father for what he has done for you and your loved one’s, then ask for what you need and then close in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.
Over the past year I have had the experience of truly getting to know personally my Saviour Jesus Christ. After the recent loss of my daughter and grandmother I relied solely on the knowledge of my Redeemer. It is during this Easter season that we are reminded of the ATONEMENT of our Saviour, his death and RESSURECTION! I know that he gave his life and atoned for each of us individually. Not just for our sins, but for the heartaches and trials we will face in this life. He did so in order to know exactly how to succor each of us in our times of need. HE IS RISEN! And because he is risen, I know that each of us will rise. And I also know that through him I can be with my daughter and grandmother again after this life! The blessings of this knowledge has allowed me to continue in life with faith. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints I am grateful to know that because of my Saviour Jesus Christ I can be with my family in the eternities! I love my Saviour and wish to share his unwavering love with all of God’s children. When we are weak, HE is strong! When we are uncertain HE is sure! When we waver HE is unyielding! When we are untrue HE is loyal! And when we are faint HE will carry us! Let HIM lift you now!
I know that I can live with Jesus and our Heavenly Father again if I live righteously. I have a son who I lost while I was pregnant because of a car accident. That boy is with God and Jesus already, and I want to get to know that son of mine also. That is why I am striving to pray to God so often each day, read the scriptures as a family, hold Family Night each monday, and anything else I can do to be righteous. Jesus opens the “doors” to heaven by atoning for our sins and rising as a resurrected being. That makes a resurrection a possibility for all of us here on earth! I want that for my husband and son as well as anyone else who will take Jesus’ name and live the way Christ wants us to here on earth. I know God and Jesus are there for all of us each day! I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
What a glorious message, Jesus Christ has burst the bands of death and He lives! As a result of His infiinate love and atonement, I will once again be able to dwell in the presence of God the Eternal Father. He offers peace and healing to all mankind. He can lift every burden, right every wrong and heal every broken heart. I love Him with all my heart. I want to strive to love as He loved and follow His example and going about doing good all my days.
I’m grateful for the atonement of the Saviour in my life. The atonement has new meaning for me after reading Elder Bednar’s talk on the atonement in the Ensign. Usually we look at the atonement as something that makes bad men good, but looking at it from the standpoint of making good men better is very important also. Mosiah 3:19 says that we must put off the natural man (bad men good) and become saint (good men better) through the atonement. We must use the atonement to enable us to change our lives rather than change our circumstances. The atonement can help us achieve things in our life that otherwise we would not be able to accomplish. I am grateful for my family and the things they have taught and are teaching me about becoming a better person. In the name of Jesus Christ Amen
I know that my Redeemder lives! My Savior is Jesus Christ. Because of His sacfrice I will be able to return to the presence of my Savior and Father which art in Heaven if I do my part. I am so grateful for my Savior! I love Him
I have felt of Jesus’ love for me as I have felt alone. It has felt like he was the only one who truly is there for me at times. I know that the atonement is real, that Christ suffered in Gethsemane and later died on the cross for me. This has brought me peace throughtout my life as loved ones have passed on; I know that I will see them again. Even while I was on my mission and my Grandmother passed away I was able to be at peace because I knew that she would be happy and in a better place. I know that if we involve Christ in our lives our burdens will be lighter and that we can truly be happy and at peace despite the troubles that are found in this life.
This Easter I wish to share my feelings for my Savior Jesus Christ. I know He lives and personally loves and cares about each one of us. I have experienced His love, concern and tender mercies to me many times during my life but especially fifteen years ago when I was diagnosed with a rare kind of cancer. I was not expected to live long but through my Saviors miracles, guidance and tender mercies I am still alive to testify of Him, That He lives, that He was our perfect example, and is our best friend. He gave His life for each of us that we might live eternally. I am eternally grateful and will try to live my life in a way that will show my loyalty, love and gratitude I feel to Him.
