Beginning in January 2025, seminary classes will include new Life Preparation lessons. These additional lessons will help students draw on the power of Jesus Christ in all aspects of life while maintaining a foundation in scripture and an alignment with the Come, Follow Me gospel study resource.
The lessons will help students handle challenging life circumstances, fulfill their divine identity and potential, become self-reliant and emotionally resilient, develop healthy habits, succeed in school, pursue additional education, prepare for missionary service, and make and keep covenants in the temple.
These Life Preparation lessons will begin now for released-time programs (in some areas of the United States and Canada) and in January 2025 globally.
The new lessons were announced by Elder Clark G. Gilbert, Church Commissioner of Education, in a recent broadcast to seminary teachers.
