The four most senior leaders of the Church are all over 90 years old:

  • President Russell M. Nelson, Church President, is 98 and will turn 99 in September 2023. He is the oldest Church president in history.
  • President Dallin H. Oaks, First Counselor in the First Presidency, celebrated his 90th birthday last August.
  • President Henry B. Eyring, Second Counselor in the First Presidency, celebrated his 90th birthday May 31.
  • President M. Russell Ballard, Acting President of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, is 94 and will turn 95 in October.

As of June 1, the 15 living apostles have served together for 5 years, 2 months and 2 days.

Only 20 Latter-day Apostles have lived to be 90 years of age.
