New features in the Gospel Library app help communicate to members the hymns selected for sacrament meetings and the topics for elders quorum and Relief Society lessons.
- Ward music coordinators and bishoprics can now select hymns in the Gospel Library app and members can then easily tap on the selected hymns during sacrament meeting.
- Elders quorum and Relief Society presidencies can select general conference talks in the Gospel Library app and members can tap on the talks before and during the lessons.
This new feature will work for members and leaders when:
- They are using version 6.5 of the Gospel Library app.
- They are signed in using their Church account.
- The leaders’ callings are current in Leader and Clerk Resources.
- The ward sacrament meeting start time is current in Leader and Clerk Resources.
- The hymns and general conference talks are available in their language.
For visual demonstrations of these experiences, watch the short videos about how to select sacrament meeting hymns and general conference talks.
Is there a way to input that the choir or small group is singing instead of an intermediate hymn?
I’m the ward clerk for a Portuguese speaking ward. Is there a way to change the hymns to Portuguese? I can only see in English. Thanks
Is there a way to add a lesson from the previous conference. Many times teachers prepare their lessons ahead and in May and Nov they are planning to teach from previous conference talks.
Thank you.
Can the assistant executive secretary have access to these tools?
I have been struggling with that as well. It seems as soon as the next conference is over, we cannot change the last couple of takes in October as the are not available from the list.
Is there a way to include the instructor?
Who is able to put the current conference talk for Relief Society onto the Gospel Library app?
It would be nice if the bulleting rep could see the hymns the music people are posting during the week before sacrament meeting so that the information could be put in the Sunday program.
I agree with Nancy C Yturralde. I am the communication specialist and print a weekly bulletin. I can’t see the music ahead of time.
Could there be a way for a volunteer to input the data for the busy Bishopric/ music people?
Is there a way to enable posting all Ward announcements on Gospel Library? Would reduce need/cost to print weekly bulletins and all members would have the announcements, even those who can’t attend and pick up a bulletin.
