This year’s Church Music Festival will highlight sacred music. “Hail the Day That Sees Him Rise” will be held Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. MST at the Tabernacle on Temple Square in Salt Lake City.
No tickets are required to attend the concert. The songs will also be recorded for on-demand viewing and will be published later on the Church Music Festival archive page.
Performances will include arrangements of old and new hymns along with contemplative moments and songs with high energy. A range of performers will participate, including the Church Music Festival Choir; a children’s choir; combined Institute Choirs from Logan, Salt Lake, and Orem; and a jazz combo and brass ensemble. The Unity Gospel Choir, founded by Debra Bonner, will be a highlight as they perform “Go Tell It on the Mountain,” and Emma Murdock will be featured singing her arrangement of “This Little Light of Mine.”
