The article gives 6 examples of social media efforts.
The article is from an address given by Elder David A. Bednar in August 2014 during Campus Education Week at Brigham Young University.

Have you tried the Nextdoor social networking site? It is a smaller social networking site, which is why it doesn’t commonly make the lists, but I think it could be more effective in sharing the gospel. Nextdoor connects you with your actual neighbors in your neighborhood, or in other words, the people that the missionaries in my ward would like to talk to.
From my experiences, people are always asking about the best plumber or tree pruning services in the area. Having a conversation about the best Sunday church services would fit in well. I’ve been using it to find neighbors in need of service (such as help moving furniture or something) and recommending help from the missionaries.
