LDS Living has published an article “30 Things You Didn’t Know about the Conference Center.”
That place is huge.
Did you know that the entire Salt Lake Tabernacle could fit in the stage area of the Conference Center?

Number 30 is not true.
LDS Living: “30. The dedication of the building included a ‘hosanna shout,’ which previously had only occurred during temple dedications.”
Gordon B. Hinckley: “Now, my brothers and sisters, in a moment I shall offer the dedicatory prayer, in which all of you are invited to join. Immediately at the close of the dedicatory prayer, we invite each one of you who may wish to participate to stand and join with us in the Hosanna Shout. This sacred salute to the Father and the Son is given at the dedication of each of the temples. It has also been given on a few occasions of historic importance, such as the laying of the capstone on the Salt Lake Temple and the celebration of the centennial of the Church in the 1930 general conference.” (Ensign, Nov. 2000.)
#30 isn’t true.
When I wrote my comment, the previous comment was mysteriously invisible, although it did say there had been one comment. And my comment couldn’t be seen either, for at least a couple of days.
Someone should note the day and time that R. Gary and I agreed on something.
