The Church is working on a new section of LDS.org that will bring together all types of media (video, audio, images, etc.) for Church members to use when learning the gospel, sharing the Church’s message with friends and family, or creating material for their families or their Church assignments. It will be a much improved version of the current videos.lds.org, audio.lds.org, and images.lds.org.
The LDS.org team is interested in your help in naming this section. How would you refer to, or search for, a place on LDS.org that houses a collection such as the one just described? If you have any ideas please post them in the comments below.
Online Gospel Library. (Libraries have all types of media)
LDS chat n View
Online media centre
“Just Ask Me”
mormon media market
“multi-media.lds.org”
I like Tami’s suggestion of Just Ask Me (JAM). It’s important in this Facebook age that we make this appealing to our younger generation as well so that they will use it and share it with others. Music is a universal language so posting songs and providing links that allow the songs to be downloaded would also be a great idea to get the message out.
I vote for media.lds.org
Keep it simple. I would even leave off the multi- that Joanne put.
Look, Listen, and Learn
LDS Library online
mormonmedia.lds.org
I also vote for media.lds.org. “Media” is exactly what it’s going to contain.
Keep it short, simple and easy to remember. I like “Media.org”.
lds.tech.org
I like everyones ideas they are all very good. Ours is
Zions Gospel Media
Online Mormon Flipchart
LDS Media Center
Online Media Library
I agree that media.lds.org is the best URL, but as far as a title page goes, I’d be a little more specific, like “Multi-media Library” or “LDS Media Center”
Mormon Media and More
Learning library.
These are really forms of art. Why not call it ArtCart? You can search (or shop) for these media items.
I prefer the title used in the classic website-Gospel library.
A library houses all resources.
I
VIA LINK (Video -Images-Audio)
or LDS VIA LINK
Media Library
Mormons In Action
“LDS Treasures” The site will provide a “Treasure” of information to those who view it.
everything audio visual
Mormon or LDS Visions.
It has a concept for both media and Church members. It also leaves it open for new technologies that are yet to be developed. Also, it could be more specific in the sub-categories.
Here is another one “LDS Secrets” Everyone likes to be snoopy and look behind closed doors so to speak. Any name that would imply the area is deeply special, or even sacred, or “secret” just might get more attention than one would expect. How about LDS Secrets……(revealed at last)
“The Treasure Cave”
MORMONMEDIA.COM
Et Cetera or ETC for short
VIA.org
Video, Images, and Audio
Get what you need to learn and to teach via VIA.org!
The Media Room
What about Multi Media Library?
The web address could be liahonna.lds.org
(Because the liahonna provided spiritual direction)
LDS Techno
Gospel Multimedia Room (parallels “LDS Newsroom)
How about LDS LOOK & LEARN.org
sight&sound
or, combined such as,
churchinsight&sound
sight&sound of the LDS church
I FELL THIS TITLE WILL BE GREAT. HOW CAN WE HEAL OUR HEARTS? THRU THE SCRIPTURES, TALKS, FRIENDS, PRAYERS ETC

Let’s call it the Hive
hive – deseret. Mormon symbol for years.
Hives are where people/bees are together, working, sharing, communicating all for the good of the community.
Hive is one word, very designable from a logo standpoint. Short, modern, symbolic, not wordy. Hive is easy to understand and honeycomb is a staple of digital communications…check out the BYU application site.
The Hive. or Hive.
Thanks for reading 🙂
@Rosa:
Hi, I’m 19 and I do not think JAM would work. Not to be rude, but acronyms are very old. If you want to appeal to youth, make it simple and symbolic. JAM isnt appealing..sounds gimicky and tacky, to be honest.
media.lds.org is a generally marvelous idea however its too general and very polished. youth might not be attracted to it, but its also logical and understandable.
Learn and Communicate
I suggest “Media Sharing Center” media.lds.org Then people can find everything, and be more aware of what is available for sharing.
