Once the application window opens, the links and details will be available at TempleSquare.org and in the Temple Square app.
What are the requirements to volunteer?
Each volunteer must be able to commit to the following:
- Welcome all people regardless of individual circumstances.
- Provide joyful interactions with guests.
- Follow the Spirit to determine individual needs for all of God’s children.
- Be self-motivated, willing to help anyone, and make decisions in the moment.
Additional requirements include the following:
- Serve for a minimum of 8 weeks.
- Most roles require standing for many hours.
- A variety of shifts will be available to choose from.
Specific job roles and requirements will be available in June 2026.
Is volunteering open to everyone?
Roles are open to volunteers 16 years and older from all backgrounds and experience levels. Some assignments may require specific skills. Volunteers should be able to serve for a minimum of 8 weeks. Most shifts are 3–4 hours and require constant standing during that time. Some roles can accommodate accessibility as needed.
What are the time commitments to be a volunteer?
Volunteers should be able to serve for a minimum of 8 weeks. Shifts are typically once a week for 3–4 hours, between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. Most volunteer assignments are flexible and allow you to choose shifts to fit your schedule. While specific time commitments will vary by assignment, most roles will include a minimum number of shifts and training. Full details will be listed on the volunteer application once it becomes available in June 2026.
Are you seeking specialized performers for the celebration?
Yes! In addition to general assignments, some experiences will include opportunities for talented young performers such as musicians, vocalists, or cultural performers. More details will be shared as plans develop.
