Witness of The Book of Mormon

As Elder Holland was declaring his witness, I thought to myself, “wouldn’t it be great if someone were to create a website where we could go and add our testimony that we too know the Book of Mormon to be the word of God and that it came forth the way Joseph Smith said it did?” His witness is having a powerful effect on the church members.
And that’s about as far as my thought went. Connor turned it into a reality. It’s nice to be able to add my name to the list and I’ll bet I know why he doesn’t allow comments – that would be a nightmare to monitor and edit – but I wish there was a central place where I could go write my testimony – just a paragraph or two – and add it to everyone else’s.
Yeah, just monitoring the names has been tedious enough, as it is. Such is the power of the internet: what your friends know, your enemies will soon find out. I’ve had probably 30-40 submissions already of bogus (anti) “names” that I’ve had to delete.
Connor, thanks for doing this!
One thing about the Mormons: They do not try to convince you that what they believe is true. They just teach and it then becomes your responsibility to take it to God in prayer, in the name of Jesus Christ and with REAL INTENT, to know if what they are teaching is correct. So decide what your intent is, then believe that through the power of the Holy Ghost, you CAN know the truth of all things. Ask and ye shall receive.
It’s been 33 years since I asked and received a confirmation. Being baptized into the church and striving to be obedient to the prophet, has been the best experience of my life. Think about this: The message of the Bible is: Old Testiment: There will be a Christ. New Testiment: Jesus is the Christ. But many people do not believe the Bible: Buddhist, Hindu, Muslim, atheist, agnostics, etc. Jesus said, “Other sheep I have that are not of this fold, they too much hear my voice and know that I am”. The Book of Mormon people are those othr sheep. They kept their record. And now, it is a second witness that: Jesus is the Christ. If you believe the Bible, you will believe the Book of Mormon. Because it is true, it only stands to reason that Joseph Smith who translated it, was chosen by God, to be the prophet of the restoration. I know this to be true. Georgia
