Continual Increase in Members, Wards, Stakes, and Temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

The Church News recently published four charts that show the growth of the Church in four areas:

1. Membership. The chart above shows the continual growth of the Church from 1830 to 2023. There were 17,255,394 members at the end of 2023.
2. Wards and branches. There were 31,490 wards and branches at the end of 2023.
3. Stakes. There were 3,565 stakes at the end of 2023.
4. Temples. There were 186 dedicated temples at the end of 2023.
