The book The First Fifty Years of Relief Society: Key Documents in Latter-day Saint Women’s History is now available online in a searchable format. It was printed a year ago by the Church Historian’s Press and available at store.lds.org and at Amazon in printed and Kindle formats.
The book contains original, annotated documents that show the challenges, contributions, devotion, and teachings of early Latter-day Saint women.
The online version has a biographical index to learn more about the 2,000 faithful women mentioned in the book. The project has also partnered with FamilySearch to send personalized emails to inform over one million people who have direct ancestors who are featured in the book.
