Mother’s Day is next Sunday, May 8, 2016. This year, I encourage you to look at some of the materials the Church has created. Pick out what is most meaningful to you and share it with a personal message.
For Mother’s Day in 2015, the Church sponsored a #TimeForMom campaign that encouraged us to “Give Back to Mom.” The Mormon Channel shared what you and others did. Learn more about it, watch the video “Make Mother’s Day Happy,” and access several images that suggest ways you can give back to mom.
The topic for Mother’s Day in 2014 was #MomsHands. The Church invited you to do something to thank the hands that have guided your life. Learn more about this campaign and access images to share, including the video “Mom’s Hands” that you can share with others.
Another video you could share is “Love Her Mother,” which is based on a talk by Sister Elaine S. Dalton. It addresses how a father can raise a happy, well-adjusted daughter in today’s increasingly toxic world.

Motherhood is the highest, holiest service assumed by humankind. It’s the definition of selfless service. It’s both a daunting responsibility and a glorious opportunity. The divine role of motherhood is a gift from God, and key to His plan of happiness for all His children.
Watch the video “It Was Mom: A Mother’s Day Tribute To Moms” to be reminded of all that has been done in our lives because of mothers.
