I love the Reveal Gospel Library app for Android mobile phones. It has a great variety of LDS e-books, which are provided by external sources like yanceyware.com, thecoffeys.net, Guttenberg, and other sites. You can access all the scriptures, Church magazines, lesson manuals, general conference talks, and publications for other Church programs. All free. Many thanks to Dave Packham and Jack C. Holt for developing this!
It has great functionality and none of the hassles I had with readers on Windows Mobile with multiple steps to find, download, copy to my phone, and set up menus.
See my previous article about the application for Android phones to listen to the Mormon Channel radio.

The only problem left is the organization of books. I have over 150 Yanceyware books on my windows based device (HTC Touch Pro). I have the power to organize the menus and I am waiting for Reveal to offer the same feature. Then, and only then, will I buy an Android.
LDS Scriptures App from LDS Scriptures has tons of resources available and is well organized, plus it has a lot of functionality that Reveal doesn’t offer like bookmarks, notes, highlighting, tags, all of which can be backed up and synced to other devices. I’m the developer of the app, and I think you’ll find it a very robust “app” and not just a reader for what it can do to help with Scripture study on the go. Just search for “LDS” on the Android market and look for the golden plates icon.
@Andrew Curtis: Reveal has the power to organize the menus. In the newest version you can long press a title and it brings up a menu to move it to a folder.
I like and use both Reveal and the LDS app. I would like to have more content available. I would like all the books found on Gospellink to be available.
Is the application compatible with any android phones? Thank you.
