This week’s movie pick is Escape From Germany. (See other “Weekend Movie Picks.”)
This movie from master storyteller T.C. Christensen tells a story from Church history that is fascinating and faith affirming. The film takes place in Germany, days before the outbreak of World War II. It tells the true story of the dangers and challenges involved in evacuating Latter-day Saint missionaries from the country before it would become impossible to do so.
