Did you know that LDS Institute offers independent study courses for students who are unable to attend a regularly-scheduled institute of religion class?
You can take classes on the Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, Pearl of Great Price, New Testament, and Old Testament.
You can’t transfer credit for these courses to BYU, but they count toward institute graduation.
Learn more about the Institute Independent Study Courses and sign up.
I am intersted in taking your independent study course. I would like to get more information. Thanks
I want to dig in deeper in the BofM than just listening to it over and over. I want to retain the information more chronologically and maybe retain some scriptures by heart. I hope that you have a class to help me get started.
I am interested in taking an online course of the Book of Mormon. Could you please give the requirements for this course.
same!!! if you hear of anything let me know and Id love to join.
Hannah, you can also schedule appointments by calling the temple.
How to join?
I want to graduate from Institute but my schedule is difficult. Please let me know how to get registered and started on the independent study courses. Thank you!
I would like to take an institute class, while I am.
Since it doesn’t transfer credit to BYU, Does Online Institute still qualify for the required institute to complete BYU Pathway? and if so where can I sign up?
I have the same question as Ryan. “Does Online Institute still qualify for the required institute to complete BYU Pathway? and if so where can I sign up?”
Can I still enroll in online institute if I am over 30 years of age? Thank you for your time.
