At general conference every six months, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints issues an official World Report of Church news and events around the world.
You can watch it in English, Spanish, and Portuguese below. The program is also available in Cantonese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin and Russian.

I really enjoy seeing everyday ordinary people helping each other.
I have noticed that the church “partners” and “facilitates” some of the service
My personal view I don’t think its honest to talk in detail about what other charities are doing that we are “facilitating” when the really story is what they are doing.
With regard to JustServe platform / software has been used in Tennessee. Personally I think it has nothing to do with the “Tennessee Promise Scholarship”. Listening to the mayor talking about this scholarship while showing kids wearing JustServe t-shirts seems like a job to me. The credit for the “Tennessee Promise Scholarship” is the organisation that has been running it for years. Has LDS Charities or JustServe been running the TPS. Are you so naive to think that I think this is happening because of JustServe software?
Similarly I was heart warmed to hear the guy who was now supporting his family with behives. I’m glad the FTM church missionaries had an idea or found out some information that they passed onto this guy. The free training was by a Minister of Agriculture not the LDS charites. Perhaps these FTM were supportive and helped the guy with encouragement which is something.
The FTM seem to be involved in the Shek’s charity who has given 138 goats over a few years. In reality the FTM are again involved and they have the story of the Shek’s charity to tell like it’s something they have done themselves … they have been involved in it is probably the reality.
Look I’m not trying to be negative but it’s like the story about the police department using JustServe … really so the software connected the people … but isn’t it the police and the community getting together … if it wasn’t for JustServe they would probably have done the same thing anyway maybe with a newspaper adverstisement.
I’m really unimpressed by the World Report taking credit.
And finally I’m sure JustServe does help it’s just that it’s overrated and most of the stories are other organistions actually doing the service … its a software package and lets be honest the software doesn’t get out and do anything … it just co-ordinates electronic messages between groups of people … which is JustGreat …
Further Pres Oates is praised by some people for his talk. Where is the gratitude or the praise or recognition for other religions and people there that invited him. Where there other talks and comments that we can make about others as well or is it the story just to show how they praise us? Yes some of them liked Pres Oates… who did he praise and complement and admire … nobody it seems. We must be the only ones there that are praise worthy??? This is typical of hearing others praising the church … do we praise our partners ??? not much
