Last month, the Church launched an online training course as part of an ongoing effort to protect children and youth. Adults who interact with children and youth in their Church assignments in North America are to complete the training by September 22.

As you take the course, there is an audio transcript available if you want to read along as you listen to it. Or, if you have difficulty hearing the audio, you can read the transcript. Just follow the steps below and refer to the screen shots.

  1. Go to ProtectingChildren.ChurchofJesusChrist.org.
  2. Click Launch Training. (You will need to sign into your LDS account if you haven’t already done so.)
  3. Click Get Started.
  4. On the welcome screen, click Test Audio.
  5. In the lower right side of the screen, click the icon of a piece of paper to see the transcript of the audio. (You will need to click that icon on each page to read the transcript and then wait for the audio to finish before moving to the next page.)

The transcript may be easier to read on a computer or tablet rather than on a phone.
