This Easter season, the Church’s “Prince of Peace” initiative invites the world to find the inner peace that comes from the life and teachings of our Savior Jesus Christ. Visit Mormon.org between now and Easter Sunday to learn more about eight principles of peace taught by the Prince of Peace: faith, compassion, forgiveness, repentance, gratitude, God’s word, prayer, and hope. Enjoy the main video at the top of that page, and 8 more short videos about each of the principles.
Of the eight principles, the one that speaks to me the most, personally, is Peace through Hope. The video about this principle features a man who found peace and hope in the Gospel after the death of his father. My mother died when I was 16, and although it was devastating, I always felt peace, knowing that I would see her again. Through her death, I learned that no matter how difficult the challenges of life can be, there is peace through Jesus Christ. Because of His Resurrection, we will all live again—forever.

Thank you very much for sharing and promoting the wonderful media of the LDS Church – and in such a professional and timely manner! It’s my favourite email subscription. I don’t have Facebook etc..
Yes, hope is my favourite principle of peace too. I even had the same experience when my mother died when I was a teenager. In any moment of ‘down’, we can be lifted up by switching our mind to the Saviour and the hope, through faith, which he immediately gives.
I wish everyone would make use of the priceless media of the Church. Start with these eight short videos.
