With more gospel resources available in digital formats, we can seek inspiration, share the gospel, and prepare for Sunday quorums and classes on our electronic devices–anytime, anywhere.

Earlier this week, I wrote about the new LDS curriculum for 2016. Years ago, we had to wait until printed books could be delivered to our hands. Now, with the power of the gospel in our pockets, we can study anytime, anywhere.
The use of digital study materials is not only easier for us as members, but it can also save the Church millions in the cost to print and distribute printed manuals. In the instructions that were sent to bishops, they were asked to “encourage teachers and class members to use digital versions of these curriculum materials. Most curriculum materials are available online and can be viewed or downloaded at no cost at lds.org/manual or on the LDS Gospel Library mobile app.”
The instructions asked wards to “determine the number of print copies to order by assessing what printed materials are already available in your unit and then order print materials only for those who do not use digital versions of curriculum.”
Wonderful tool that will help us
I am s high priest group leader and about half have electronic devices, but many still want the printed book. They like to highlight and make notes on the book, so I suggest we order a given number plus a few extra.
