The LDS Gospel Library mobile app provides a comprehensive collection of Church material on your mobile device, including scriptures, conference addresses, magazines, manuals, and even videos. It is available for Android, Apple iOS, Windows Phone, Windows 8, BlackBerry, Kindle Fire, and Other Phones. (A beta test is also underway for a version to run on standard feature phones.)
Recently the Gospel Library app for Apple iOS has been updated with three new features:
- Improved media playback options
- Study Notebook integration
- LDS Music integration
For more information about these updates, see “Updates to the Gospel Library App” on LDS Tech. Currently these new features are only available for the Apple iOS version. Eventually, the features will be available for the other platforms as well.

App is now broken for iPod Touch 1G (iOS 3.1.3). Other iPod Touch users? It just seems like these don’t get tested on multiple devices before releasing them. Now there are no good alternatives for scripture apps on iPod Touch 1G…
Doug, we are aware of the problem. We submitted a fix for this issue (all text for a paragraph displayed on a single line) to the app store last week; we are still waiting for Apple to approve it. It should be available shortly. We apologize for the inconvenience.
