Did you know that scriptures.lds.org not only has the scriptures text, but also audio recordings to listen to online or download MP3 files to use on other devices? This includes the Holy Bible (both Old Testament and New Testament), Triple Combination, Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, and Pearl of Great Price.
A new page Available Scriptures Formats also lists the following additional ways to access the scriptures:
- Electronic text and audio recordings are also available on the Church’s mobile applications.
- Electronic text is also available on the Church’s LDS View application.
- Audio recordings are available on iTunes and will soon be available at LDS Media Library on LDS.org.
- Printed scriptures and audio CDs are available in various styles at the Church’s online store (store.lds.org).
- Free copies of the Holy Bible and Book of Mormon are also available for those of other faiths.
How can you better use these resources in your study of the scriptures?
Any Idea why Gospel Library is no longer available from the Palm App Store for Palm Pixi? My wife is pretty mad at me for accidently deleting it!
Those are great. But most are already available online for a minimal fee. It would be awesome to have material not currently available on sites like itunes, such as History of the Church and Journal of Discourses. Also, earlier versions of the scriptures, such as the first edition of the Book of Mormon.
