Preparing to attend the temple for the first time?

You may want to attend a temple preparation class offered in many wards and stakes.
The Church website also offers Temple Preparation Resources for Personal Study. On this page, you’ll find references to understand basic principles, lessons to study on your own, and ways to act on what you learn. The page also provides suggestions for parents and leaders/teachers.

Does the Sunday School Presidency oversee the Temple Preparation Classes?

The bishopric oversees the course (General Handbook 25.2.8). However, in my ward I have seen it assigned to the Elders Cuorum Presidency through the counselor assigned to Temple Work
