The Doctrine & Covenants and Church History Visual Resource DVDs were released in English in October 2010. The Church has now released this set of four DVDs in Spanish and Portuguese.
This set contains over 300 visual resources, including videos, art, charts, quotes, and study activities that can enhance the teaching and learning of principles and doctrines from the Doctrine and Covenants and Church history in homes and Church classrooms.
Contents of the Doctrine & Covenants and Church History Visual Resource DVD:
Discs 1 and 2 contain over 300 visual resources and study activities tied to the Doctrine and Covenants and Church history.
Disc 3 contains five additional movies, including Joseph Smith: The Prophet of the Restoration, Legacy, and Only a Stonecutter.
Disc 4 contains the still pictures and narrated text from the book Doctrine and Covenants Stories (1983 edition).
You can order this DVD set at store.lds.org for US $4.50 (item 08042). The Spanish DVDs are available now throughout Spanish-speaking countries. The Portuguese version should be available worldwide in May or June, but can be ordered online now.
A similar set of DVDs, Old Testament Visual Resource DVDs, was released last year.
