Learn More
For those interested in learning more about this new edition, there will be a special 30-minute orientation that will be broadcast between sessions of the October general conference. Afterwards, it will be available on the Spanish Bible Web pages.
It’s exciting to see more scriptures come online. I know personally, I use the online editions (in English) at least a few times a week, so I’m sure the Spanish Saints will make great use of it!
This is an exciting announcement! I don’t speak Spanish myself, but I understand the challenges of studying the Bible in a language other than English without the benefit footnotes, cross-references, and JST excerpts. The Dutch saints use a translation of the Bible from 1951, and the integrity of the text is comparably not as high as the King James Version in English. This LDS edition of the Bible will be a great blessing to the Spanish saints all over the world.
Muchas Gracias a nuestros lideres de la iglesia por esta gran bendicion! It’s a great day for the Latin communities…
