Visual aids are important in teaching and enhancing the spirit in our homes. The following is a short list where you can find downloadable, printable graphics on Church Web sites:

  • Gospel Art Book. This new resource published in March 2009 contains 137 pictures that can be used in the home or at church to enrich gospel teaching and learning. The pictures are organized into six sections: (1) Old Testament, (2) New Testament, (3) Book of Mormon, (4) Church History, (5) Gospel in Action, and (6) Latter-day Prophets. You can purchase a single copy for $3.50 or a box of 20 (to share with your friends) for ony $1.50 each. Order a copy at store.lds.org (item number 06048 090) or view or download a copy online for free at gospelart.lds.org. [Please note that LDS.org does not contain all of the images that are in the printed Gospel Art Book because some agreements with the copyright holders only allow the images to be in the book and they cannot be copied.]
  • churchofjesuschrist.org/media/images has a link to a page in the Gospel Library with links to various image libraries.
  • Church Public Affairs Newsroom. Enter a keyword (such as “temples” or “families”) into the Search box, then click on the tab “Photos, Videos, Audio.”
  • Temples.lds.org. Select a temple to see pictures of that temple.
  • Scriptures.lds.org. See a listing of maps and photographs under Study Helps.
  • Church magazines post galleries of images to enhance articles in the Liahona, Ensign, New Era, and the Friend. For example, see the gallery of Mormonads from the New Era and the coloring pages from The Friend magazine. Specific articles may also have galleries of photos.

Before using any of these images, please consult the Rights and Use Information page (link found at the bottom of every page on LDS.org). That page explains the conditions upon which you may view, download, and print material from LDS.org for your personal use. Note that some images are marked “Do No Copy.”
